Tidal Wave of Anger
Could Still Kill Hate Bill!

By Rev. Ted Pike
1 Sept 2009

As members of Congress prepare to return to Washington on September 6, I am proud that many concerned Americans have spoken out against the federal hate crimes bill in town hall meetings. Countless Americans who have read my e-alerts encouraging hate bill protest, listened to my 24 national radio and TV interviews this month, and watched our latest video "Town Hall Meeting Outrage Can Kill Hate Bill!" have taken action. Thousands have printed our flyer "Hate Bill Ends Free Speech -- Back Down Obama from Signing It" at and distributed it by the thousands in town hall protests this summer.
Here is how one California activist responded:

Hi Ted,

Thank you so much for the "Blast Hate Bill at Townhall Meetings" talking points. We had a huge, 1000-person townhall here in San Diego today with Democrat Congresswoman Susan Davis. Prior to the meeting, I printed up your talking points and handed them out to "friendlies."
People were chosen at random to question Davis. Most questioned her about healthcare. By a minor miracle, for which I praise God, I was chosen--and asked her the first of your bullet-point questions, “Attorney Gen. Holder testified in the Senate Judiciary Committee that there is no equal justice under the hate bill. He said the hate bill will not protect whites, ministers, males, police and soldiers. It will only protect such minorities as homosexuals, Jews, Muslims, blacks and Latinos. Why did you vote for a bill that discriminates against most Americans?”
Davis condescendingly said that I must have read the bill wrongly. I retorted, "No, I didn't, and you voted for an unconstitutional, unAmerican piece of legislation."
The crowd roared, and many people thanked me afterward for bringing the topic up. But I thank you for giving me such an easy, concise question to ask her--and thank God that I was chosen to query her in front of so many people!
God bless you.

There is still time to protest at town hall meetings! They are still being held this week. Family Research Council lists those in your area at
Here's what you can still do to save freedom:

  • Loudly protest the hate bill this fall at town hall meetings and on the internet and call-in talk shows as well as in church and civic groups.

  • Keep faxing Pres. Obama at 1-202-456-2461: "Mr. President, we will never forgive or forget if you sign the freedom-stealing, pedophile-protecting federal hate bill."

  • Resume calling members of Congress at 1-877-851-6437, 1-877-SOB-USOB, or 1-202-225-3121. Tell those who voted for the hate bill: "I am very angry that you voted for the freedom-destroying, pedophile-protecting hate bill. Please use your influence now to encourage the President to veto it. Otherwise, we will take revenge at midterms." (For Senators and House members who voted for the hate bill click here.)

Many Democrats returning to Congress are bruised and sobered at the unexpected level of public anger. This anger more than ever provides a tremendous wave we can ride, adding the hate bill to the list of public grievances. It is still possible to weaken support for the hate bill in the minds of the President and Senate and House conferees who will consider it this fall. If contention between Obama and Congress over "pork" in the military appropriations/hate bill package increases, Democrat disfavor toward the hate bill could hasten a Presidential veto.
Follow the example of this California activist and many others and keep speaking out and praying against the hate bill. In the five defeats of the hate bill over the past 11 years, God has always helped a small minority defeat it by sowing confusion in Democrat ranks.
It's time to believe and act as if He can do it again!

Fox News Rips "Pedophile-Protecting" Hate Bill:

...[Fox News anchor Megyn] Kelly interviewed Rep. Steve King, who attempted to amend the hate bill in Judiciary last week to explicitly exclude pedophiles. King reported how Rep. Alcee Hastings, a pro-hate bill Democrat, proudly claimed practitioners of 547 paraphilias listed by the American Psychiatric Association can "live without fear" once the hate bill is passed.
Ms. Kelly also expressed indignation that, while the Democrats acted to protect pedophiles, they rejected Republican efforts to obtain similar special protection for war veterans. Especially in times of unpopular wars, these are common victims of "hate crimes," spit upon or attacked because of who they are -- military defenders of America's freedom...

Alert to Congress Regarding Hate Bills and the False Flag Attack Threat by America First Books publisher William B. Fox. Two-thirds down the web page please find the essay "The Hate Crime Law Concept: It is all very sinister for at least nine major reasons."
Also, earlier on this same page I comment:

Although Rev Ted Pike is completely independent from Captain May and myself in terms of his political and religious views, the threats we address all stem from the same corrupt power elite. I mention in my concluding remarks below that this elite “would mobilize us into domestic tyranny and foreign wars, while distracting us from economic depression and the groups that brought it about.”
This is the real problem, not the lack of more “hate crime” laws. If anything, we need even more freedom of speech to speak truth to power, sort out our problems, and develop peaceful strategies to handle high level malefactors. This is why we urgently need for members of Congress to not only take a principled stand and stop all hate crime legislative initiatives, but to also roll back all the existing hate crime laws currently on the books.

Hate crime laws actually pose a major national security threat. They condition Americans to feel that certain types of thought are inherently immoral or illegal, even if they do not result in any form of violence or infringement on the rights of others.
In our articles related to false flag attacks, Capt. Eric H. May and I have discussed strong evidence that Mossad-CIA was behind 9-11, the mere "thought" of which would some day be outlawed once hate crime oversight bureaucracies become firmly implanted in America. We can expect government hate crime overwatch entities to experience the usual cancerous growth and abuse of power that libertarian writer and Presidential candidate Harry Browne described in his classic book Why Government Doesn't Work.
